This template can be used when a page title has been [[WP:USURPTITLE|usurped]] by moving an older page to a new title, then changing the newly created redirect of the old title to a separate page. In such a case, this template gets placed on the ''new'' usurped page (not to be confused with the new title now holding the older page's contents)

The location to which the other page was moved. If defined, the template will display this link in the message.
==== ''talk'' ====
The location of a relevant discussion. Must be a talk page, or section thereof, including the namespace prefix.
If <code>talk</code> is defined with a valid talk page title or section, the template will display a sentence with a link to that title or section. If the value given for <code>talk</code> is not a valid page title, the sentence will not appear.
==== ''date'' ====
The date that <nowiki>{{</nowiki>{{ROOTPAGENAME}}<nowiki>}}</nowiki> has been added. This will be displayed after the message in a smaller font.
Passing this parameter also enables [[:Category:Wikipedia maintenance categories sorted by month|monthly cleanup categorisation]] under the proper subcategory of [[:Category:Wikipedia articles in need of updating]].
